SUPERIOR APARTMENT
This Superior Apartment has 43 square meters and 3.7 meters high ceilings, windows to the exterior and exposed beams, which gives it a feeling of spaciousness and comfort.
It has a separate bedroom with a 180×200 bed, living room with kitchen-dining room, sofa bed and bathroom and all necessary appliances. The attention to detail is key, with a functional-practical and clean distribution. We provide the toiletry and kitchen kit for the first days of the stay.
STUDIO APARTMENT
It is 38 square meters of open space. The charming apartment offers a 180×200 bed, a bathroom, a kitchen equipped with all appliances and a living room with open sofa bed and dining room and is ideal for couples or small families. Freedom of movement. We provide a complete bathroom and kitchen amenities kit with everything you need.
DELUXE APARTMENT
The apartment has 52 square meters and 3.70 meters high ceilings, which gives it a feeling of spaciousness and comfort. In fact, in our family, we refer to the apartment as “the wide one”. It has windows to the outside and exposed beams.
It consists of an open space that houses a kitchen, dining room and living area with a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, with long stays in mind, and all the necessary small appliances such as a mixer, toaster, juicer, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine.
On the other hand, there is the master bedroom and the bathroom. The bedroom has its own window, a 180×200 bed and a restored antique wardrobe, which has both shelves and coat racks. A bench at the foot of the bed, a small armchair and a luggage rack complete the bedroom.

We are Imanol and Maria, a couple who fell in love with Getaria and in Getaria. It is with this enthusiasm that we started this project, Katu Kale apartamentuak. We have taken care of every detail so that you enjoy your stay, and we hope that during your visit you respect and fall in love with Getaria, as we did.
The three apartments are housed on the entire ground floor of an 18th century stone building, which belonged to a family of shipowners, that more recently was used as a salting factory. It is in one of the quietest streets in the historic centre of Getaria, which leads to the port. In fact, it is because of its tranquillity that in Getaria, this street, Aldamar Street, is known as Katu kale, the street of cats. In honour of its people and customs, we have called this project Katu Kale Apartamentuak.
Getaria is one of the most beautiful towns on the entire Guipuzcoan coast, with a calm beach due to its bay, where you can paddle surf, swim or dive, and a wild beach for surfing. In addition, this town has a delicious gastronomy based on the freshest products and homemade preparation, the main specialty being the grilled fish. On the other hand, you can also enjoy the town’s culture, visiting the museum of the internationally famous couturier Cristobal Balenciaga. Getaria is a small town to enjoy.
